Home to seaside towns, jaw-dropping beaches, national parks, breweries, and incredible wildlife, Yorke Peninsula is a must-see getaway.

A few of our fave recommendations:

  • Dhilba Guuranda, Innes National Park.

We’re not even sure words can do this place justice. Think long stretches of (often empty) white sandy beaches, surf breaks, rock pools, wildlife, rugged cliffs, salt lakes, lighthouses, a heritage jetty, a shipwreck, and so much more.

Don’t forget a feed at Marion Bay Tavern for a woodfired pizza on your way in or out.

  • Watsacowie Brewery.

Yorke Peninsula’s first independently owned micro brewery and tap house. With a large variety of deliciously mouth-watering beers, and often a food truck and live music, it would almost be rude not to?

Plus, it’s on the way to all 3 Wilde Retreat properties.

Give it a look, at least.

  • Stansbury.

This cosy little seaside town is well worth the visit if you ask us. Perch up on the esplanade at the Darymple for a beer or soda water and feed, get yourself a dozen (or 2) fresh local oysters from Pacific Estate Oysters (a competitive rivalry for Coffin Bay Osyters, in our humble little non-biased opinion), and watch the sun set over the ocean.

All good options for your getaway.
